How to Build Your Own Custom Music Player For Myspace, Etc..
1: Go to http://sproutbuilder.com and make an account. When you have an account click launch sprout builder.
2: Create a project. You will need to click create a new project. You need to name and you may choose to put down a description.
2: pick the size of the space you will be making the widgit. Tip If you are making a music player use the size it starts out with.
3: Click create project. Then you will see a white square in the middle this is your work space. The main tools for your project are in the upper left side. They are called components . You have three Media, general, services.
4: When making a music player you will need to open the media tab and click on the jukebox icon.
5: If you have done this right a jukebox should pop up in the work space. You may drag it around and change the size as you like.
6: Now that you have that done you need some music. You will need to double click on the jukebox and will open an add media box.
7: Now you have two choices here you can find a mp3 url and insert it or click the assets button in the upper right hand conner.
8: If you are adding an asset you will see when you click it. It opens a drop down menu from here you can add images,music,videos, and a lot more. But for now lets add some music.
9: You will need to click the add assets button from there you can browse your computer for music that you want to add.
10: Now that you have music. Find it in the assets box and drag it from the menu to the jukebox menu. After you have draged all your music in the jukebox.
11: Close the assets menu and click the save button on the jukebox menu.
12: Now you can’t here the music in that mode so if you would like to test click the preview button.
13: Now you need to save click the save button. Then hit publish.
14: that will open a box that shows your working player and the code to it.
Cool stuff: Also look for my text on making your player look good. And if you ever update the same player you never have to repost the code as long as you save then hit publish it will automaticaly update the code.
Have fun and make some cool players. Also a lot more can be done with this tool.
